From her childhood she had a keen interest in dancing, modelling, acting. She is also a talented odissi dancer who has also won National Scholarship in Odissi[citation needed]. In 2004, she was crowned as Miss Kalinga[citation needed].She did her first Oriya film ‘O My Love’ in 2005[citation needed], even before completing her schooling in D.M School.[1] To her credit she has many superhits and 100 days blockbusters. Archita has won laurels[citation needed] in acting, modelling and social works. With her magnificent acting, she has walked away with The best New Comer and Best Actress Awards. She is the new, yet established face in Oriya Films. Her winsome smile and incredible performance makes her a promising actress. She is currently studying B.Tech in KIIT University.
She is presently the State level Ambassador of UNICEF and Govt. of Orissa for “eradication of child labour” She is also the ambassador of JUNIOR RED CROSS.
On 11 September 2010, she came to Bangalore on the occasion of Ganesh Puja on behalf of Orissa Puja Committee . She made the audience spellbound with her scintillating performance in BEML Kalamandir. She wished all the audience and looking like a PRINCESS.
